When we see people for the first time, we introduce ourselves and are introduced. This is an important and essential process to understand others. This is also an important process when we learn something new.

101 means introduction. In Nami Yoga Studio, we are starting a series of workshops called Yoga101. In these workshops, we share traditional yogic lessons and concepts step by step. We truly believe that yoga is not just an exercise on the mat, it is bigger than that.
Through yoga practice, we can get lots of benefits. The question is; how can we apply physical practice into our daily life? Or what are the lessons off the mat?
Yoga101 which combines lecture with asana practice will provide the opportunity to explore your practice through philosophies and concepts.
We are organizing 3 sessions this time so that you can learn continuously and so that you can choose the subjects which you are interested in. Yoga101 welcomes everyone. Let’s dive into a deeper understanding, and enjoy our yoga journey together!
(All classes include lecture and asana practice.)

Chakra means “circle, center” which we can call “Energy Centers”. According to the yoga philosophy, there are 6 or 7 chakras in the human body along our spine.    Yoga practice helps purify ourselves both mentally and physically. Each chakra has its unique nature that relates to our emotions.     In this workshop, we will talk about all the chakras and practice asana that focus on each one. Understand how to fine tune and control your chakras through our practice to maintain balance and peace in your body and mind.   Agenda
