With Yoga Master Andrei Ram (translated by Kayo)

This 90-minute session explores the ancient and highly effective practice of Prana Nidra, a conscious resting method that restores and recharges your vital energy. The experience integrates pranayama (breathing techniques), gentle asana (postural adjustments), and meditation, guiding participants into a profound state of conscious rest and inner renewal. Join this unique opportunity to discover how conscious rest can revitalize your body, mind, and energy under the guidance of Yoga Master Andrei Ram.

Meet with Andrei

In his native Colombia, he spent many years teaching himself meditation and yoga. He moved to the United States in 2003. His life was transformed after meeting Sri. Dharma Mitra, a master of contemporary yoga, in New York. He spent most of his time with Dharma and became the only master instructor entrusted to serve as Dharma’s representative.

He currently travels the world, sharing the classical yoga tradition as “practical wisdom for living” tailored to modern lifestyles. His work is dedicated to redirecting the consciousness of modern people—who tend to be overly focused on material values in urban life—back toward their inner selves. Through yoga, he advocates a process for rediscovering the innate well-being and joy of being human—as part of the natural world—as well as a higher dimension of self-awareness.

Andrei Ram, a beloved disciple who lived alongside Sri. Dharma Mittra—a master of modern yoga—for seven years and deeply absorbed the essence of his teachings.

He says, “Yoga is a way of life,” and shares with us a world of practice that is both scientific and filled with compassion.

Explanation of Prana Nidra:

Prana Nidra is one of the most effective yoga techniques for resting and recharging in just a few minutes.
This practice, which is still relatively unknown in the Western yoga community,
uses breath-based visualization to create a three-stage recharging process.
First, it calms the flow of energy along the energy channels (nadis).
Second, it guides the body and mind into a state of deep relaxation.
Third, it stimulates and strengthens the practitioner’s optimal vitality.
