Classes, Booking and Tickets

Once you book an online class, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a Zoom link. Simply click the link at least 5 minutes before the class starts to join.
If you haven’t received the link 5 minutes prior to the start time, please contact us at info@namiyogastudio.com.
-
We use Zoom for all online sessions. Please ensure you’ve downloaded the Zoom app on your device (phone, tablet, or computer). Bluetooth earphones are recommended but optional. Also, make sure your device is fully charged.
Set up your yoga mat and any props you plan to use. If you don’t have yoga blocks or straps, no worries—substitute with hardcover books (like a dictionary) and a towel or scarf. Some classes may also use a cushion, pillow, or blanket.
We recommend joining 5 minutes before class to get settled. Your microphone will be muted during class to avoid disruptions. For a clearer view of the instructor, switch to Active Speaker view in Zoom. Turning on your camera is optional but encouraged to share your presence and energy with the class.
Prepare your yoga mat and props if you are using them. Alternatives for yoga blocks could be big, hard-cover books (dictionary size). Alternatives for a yoga strap could be a hand towel or a scarf. For some classes, you may also need a cushion, a pillow, or a blanket. If you can, try to come 5 minutes before class start time to settle in.
During an online class, your microphone will be muted to avoid disruptions to other class participants. You can put the teacher on full screen by selecting the Active Speaker view on Zoom if you want to see the teacher more clearly. We recommend that you turn on your video camera to connect and share your energy with the class, but this is at your discretion.
Online Yoga Classes

I’m a beginner. Which class should I take?
Start with Hatha Yoga for Beginners—a gentle introduction that covers basic poses (asanas), alignment, breathing, and meditation.
After a few weeks or months, many students move on to Flow classes like Slow Flow, Hatha Flow, or Vinyasa, which involve continuous movement and help build strength and flexibility.
Prefer personal guidance? We also offer private one-on-one sessions—perfect for building confidence. Contact info@namiyogastudio.com for details.
-
Arrive 10–15 minutes early to get settled and ask any questions. Try to practice on an empty stomach—finish eating at least 2 hours before class.
-
Wear comfortable clothes you can stretch and move in. Bring a water bottle and a towel. We provide mats and props, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.
