Our Story

 

Founded in 2013, Nami Yoga Studio welcomes people of all ages, levels, and gender living or working in the Tokyo area. We promote a supportive, non-competitive, non-judgmental environment where you can relax, build strength and flexibility, and have fun!

Our goal is to support the wellbeing of all our students. We truly believe that yoga is not just an exercise, but a lifestyle. In our classes, the practice of yoga involves meditation and engaging the body in a series of poses while controlling the breath to clear the mind. We invite you to take what you learn and feel during class into your daily life as well. 

We offer a wide range of classes from Hatha yoga to Flow, Vinyasa, Core Power Yin, Restorative, and Meditation. We regularly hold Workshops to help you better understand the different aspects of yoga practice. Our teachers are passionate, knowledgeable and experienced to make sure your practice is safe and progressive. All our classes are both in studio and virtual (online) so you can also practice from the comfort of your home.
