Hanumanasana Workshop

Sunday, May 26, 2024
14:00 - 15:30

With Namita

Hanumanasana also know as the Monkey pose, is the yogic name to the famous front splits. It is a beautiful posture that requires dedication, flexibility and patience.

Hanuman the Monkey God was the son of Vayu, the God of the Winds. He was famous for his impressive and powerful leaps, as he was able to jump over incredibly long distances.

In this workshop, we will learn the prep poses, how to safely go into the hanumanasana, and the use of props. We will also add some partner work and adjustments.

New to splits?

Not to worry. There are infinite possibilities between “no splits” and “full splits.” Instead of an all or nothing approach, we view it as a journey. By shifting your view, you will be able to enjoy it with more ease and insight.

Chai Time Follows

Chai time with Namita will be following! If you have time, please join us. You are also welcome to join after the workshop! Let's have a fun time with Namita Sensei, who will be taking a break from regular classes for a while after May 28th!
